Photography has long been a hobby. I enjoy the challenge of trying to record and reproduce a scene that captures my interest. Many hours spent underwater with camera and strobe have taught me the value of patience … the essential requirement of waiting for the subject and/or the elements to do just the right thing, to place themselves in just the right spot.
After a long, office-based career, I have recently retired and relocated to the visual wonderland that is the Sierra foothills. I am excited to now have many more opportunities to pursue the challenge and to improve my photography skills.
