As an artist, I wear two hats – as a nature photographer and as a ceramicist. While photography has been part of my life since the 1950's, working with clay is more recent. Both art forms are different; yet both involve assessing what you see and then capturing that in a creative expression.
While photography captures moments in time, I look for scenes that "Tells a Story." This expressive dimension can also be seen in some of my ceramics. So now when I am out looking for subjects, I see opportunities for both photographs and ceramic creations.
